Hallelujah for Coby

Anyone who knows Coby can appreciate the love SJ & I feel for him. This song makes me tingle just one millionth as much as when Coby's around. Hallelujah indeed!

Of course, all kids are THAT special and deserve THAT love. Alas, not all get it.

But you can stop that! FULL STOP! DO IT NOW!

Come on Nanna!

A special note to wish nanna Ann better. She has been in hospital with a seriously medical sounding condition - Neutropenia Sepsis. And, by all accounts, its a serious condition. However, she is mending and beginning to feel like herself again. As a result, poor grandad has been feeling the strain too. We are spending Christmas with them though - hoorah!!! And we can't wait to give them much deserved hugs and kisses.

Natural History Museum

I think the Natural History Museum is one of the most glorious landmarks in London. We took Coby along today to see the amazing dinosaurs and he absolutely loved it. We saw lots of giant bones and bronze effigies, the huge Blue Whale, mammals and amphibians and The Vault which houses priceless diamonds, moon rock and thousands of minerals. There is so much to see and read and take in and, with Coby on the rampage, little opportunity to see and read and take it all in. The dinosaurs are fascinating, truly hard to believe that these creatures once roamed the planet!

Major Rockstar

Coby loves his new microphone (from the lovely auntie June) and enjoys belting out a number of tunes - Baa Baa Black Sheep is his favourite!

How to Wear Pants

New undies for Coby last week and he was keen to model each pair for daddy. He couldn't decide between the Thomas the Tank Engine ones or Madagascar, so wore all of them...

Better

I'm always hearing songs that are demonstrative of the way I feel about Coby - this is one of them. This is also for my mum and dad...

Who Can Believe It?

So, all the gang are now three years old. We love the fact that they've grown up together and shared a lot of special moments. Just today, Coby told me that Louis was his best friend forever (even though they fight over trains and cars). And back in August at Al's birthday bash, Coby and Lola walked around holding hands like best friends too!

Long may their special friendship continue....

Hey Howdy Hey Coby

This morning we watched Toy Story on the big screen. Louis and Maddy came along too and we munched popcorn and pix 'n' mix with Woody in tow. Coby sat all the way through - unbelievable!

Happy Birthday Oliver

Oliver is three years old today! This time last year he was living in the South of France - oooh la la - but now he's back and bigger than before! A whole year bigger. Olly invited Coby to his tea party today and the gang had fun with Pass the Parcel, Musical Statues and a Thomas the Tank Engine Birthday Cake!

Peppa, Pancakes & Playdoh

Coby and I had some catch up time this evening after work and school. We made pancakes using a recipe from Coby's Peppa Pig Annual. He wanted to flip them in the pan, but when I said I couldn't do it, he replied "daddy can do it". Thanks son! While I flicked flour everywhere and beat in the eggs and milk, Coby cooked up his own concoction with playdoh.

Birthday Bash Part III

For the third year in a row, Coby and his pals, Jasmine, Lola, Louis and Oliver celebrated their November birthdays together. We designated ourselves tasks and pulled off another fabulous lunch party at the Angel's Reply in Hitchin. I made the cake, Maddy prepared a parcel to pass, Michaela picked up some beautiful balloons, Vicki got the goody bags and Paula decorated the table. The kids were sooooo excited and enjoyed playing in the ball pit between food, drink, cake, cuddles and presents.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY COBY!!!

Coby is 3 years old today! Hip, Hip, Horray!!

Birthday Boy

What a weekend Coby's birthday turned out to be! Party aside, lots of people arrived to help him celebrate. Teresa and Adam joined us at the Angel's Reply along with grandma Wendy. Then we went back to the house and were joined by Great Aunt June and....nanny and grandad!
On Sunday, June, mum and dad came over bright and early for the grand present opening ceremony. Mum and dad were also celebrating their 34th wedding anniversary, so we had some cards and presents for them too. We spent the day playing with Coby's fabulous new toys and in the evening we enjoyed a meal at L'Artista in town. Thanks to everyone for the cards and gifts, I think Coby fulfilled his quota for the year...
