The Great Easter Egg Hunt of 2010

Michaela organised a superb Easter Egg Hunt for everyone this week and it was down to Lola, Coby and the two Olly's to retrieve as many chocolate treats as possible. Michaela also provided a delicious afternoon tea that we all devoured.

Budding Actor?

The little one is such a performer, we've arranged a free class with Perform, a group that combines drama, dance and singing to boost focus and social skills. In the absense of nursery now and until he starts school in September, Coby needs some stimulation other than mum. He is bursting with energy and expression and I have a feeling Perform will be great for him.

Coby's imagination, vocabulary and personality are extraodinary for a four year old. And he's typical of his star sign, Scorpio: determined and forceful, emotional and intuitive, powerful and passionate, exciting and magnetic. He is also obstinate - a trait we clash with on a daily basis.

He certainly keeps us on our toes.

Easter Sunday Wedding

Today we celebrated the wedding of Mark and Suzanne at Tewin Bury Farm Hotel in Welwyn, Hertfordshire. The weather was amazing, if a little chilly and windy, and Coby had the honour of page boy along with baby Charlie. The menu alone was astonishing: King Prawn Cocktail with a Spiced Creme Fraiche and Tomato Dressing, Champagne Sorbet, Rack of Lamb with a Shepherds Pie Garnish and Chocolate Fondant with Walnut Praline and Rum and Raisin Ice Cream!

Congratulations Mark & Suzanne!

Short Back & Sides

The Village Barber Shop of Borehamwood is the place to go! Al enjoys an old fashioned wet shave with hot towels and chirpy banter from the head honcho there, Chris. In preparation for his turn as page boy at Mark & Suzanne's wedding this weekend, Coby received the distinguished treatment from Chris himself...

Not stylish enough, Sir?

Mini Break

Sorry for the lack of posts recently. As most of you know, we've moved home now but we're also keeping the other house, so there has been a large amount of boxes, boxes and more boxes along with cleaning, charity shops, trips to the rubbish tip, more cleaning and paper work!

We're now neighbours with the Albert Square lot and can walk to the cinema, supermarket, retail park and, most importantly, Starbucks!

The other house has been receiving a mini make-over including some very serious work on the garden.

Out with the gravel, in with a fresh new lawn!

White wash and a bolder shade of blue!
