Al took Coby into London today to the Science Museum and they had a fabulous day together. At one point, between trains, Al was assisted up some stairs with Coby's buggy by a rather lovely gentleman - author and children's laureate, Michael Rosen! He wrote one of Coby's favourite books, 'We're Going on a Bear Hunt.' Al thought this was a real coup and Coby was mesmerised as Michael recited an extract from one of his books, 'Little Rabbit Foo Foo.'At the museum, Al and Coby went to the Imax and watched, through their 3D glasses, a film about the space station. Coby came home with the coolest space rocket and some die-cast space shuttles. Al also purchased some space strawberries - yuk!!!!!!
Al has the piccies on his mobile phone, so as soon as we're able to, we'll get them posted on here. At the end of a long day, the boys met me from work in the local cafe where Coby entertained some new friends, Nick and Jackie. They wanted to look at Coby's blog, so "hello guys" if you're reading!
